In 1993 Caroline Scheufele devised the Happy Sport watch, which has since become one of the cornerstones of the house of Chopard and achieved its fame and reputation because of the diamonds dancing across the dial. Many variations later the Happy Sport was given a self-winding mechanism on the occasion of its 20th birthday in 2013.

Year of the Monkey: a monkey watch business

The dial is designed in a comic book-like style to best capture the lively character of the monkey who appears to leap through a brush of palm fronds.
