Meet Breitling’s new friend: André Kuipers

Pierre Jacques is the new CEO of MCT

Kristina-Ripsimé Ambartsumian, chairman of MCT (Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps), announce the appointment of Pierre Jacques as the watch brand’s new CEO. Pierre Jacques has more than 15 years of strategic and operational experience in the watch industry. He notably co-founded the international watch magazine GMT, directed the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève and subsequently the Geneva flagship store of the retail group Les Ambassadeurs, before serving for five years as CEO of the De Bethune brand.

This year, BK Amsterdam will launch 8 new watches with ultra light handmade wooden cases and cow leather straps. Each case is made from a different kind of wood. The 45 mm cases of the men watches will be made from ebony, bamboo or zebrano wood. The cases for women measure 39 mm and are made of ebony, maple or bamboo. All watches have a 3025 quartz movement and are water-resistant to 30 meters.
