We first had wrap up watch year 2016 to have a clear picture of the most important watches that were on the market. Now that is done we present you with the winners of the 0024 European Watch of the Year Awards.
During jury meetings of the 16th edition of the competition we evaluated more than 100 submissions, divided into six categories – four price categories for men’s watches and two price categories for women’s watches. The international 0024 readers also voted online for their favorite watch. The judges also took the opportunity to present a special award for technical excellence. Without further ado: here’s the first winner!
Category 1: Men’s watches up to €10,000: Oris Divers Sixty-Five
Judges’ substantiation: This vintage-styled dive watch with traditional proportions and a sleek look breaths passion for watches. It really shows that its spiritual father is a true watch aficionado. The Divers Sixty-Five is a beautifully made ‘vintage’ watch with contemporary sturdiness, precision and great presence on the wrist. Great value for money too.
