Helaas zijn er veel imitatiehorloges in omloop en zien we dat deze markt, waarin vaak nauwelijks van echt te onderscheiden horloges worden aangeboden, welig tiert. Wij als horlogeliefhebbers vinden dat al jaren een vervelende en foute ontwikkeling.
Op BaselWorld 2019 spraken wij Peter Stas, oprichter en President, en Niels Eggerding, de huidige CEO. Deze bijzondere Nederlanders zijn de drijvende krachten achter Frederique Constant. Met een jaarproductie van 160.000 horloges en 29 eigen kalibers heeft het jonge merk haar positie in de horloge-industrie verankerd.
